I don’t know how I forgot about these RPDR doodles from a couple weeks ago but.
I recently got commissioned by a really sweet queen who refers to herself as Mysti Dawn for an illustration of herself, and this is the end result. Of all the queens I’ve drawn, this particular illustration comes closest to looking like a Disney Princess stylistlcally and I kinda wanna keep that pattern going. Tee-hee.
Here’s the finished ink piece of Alyssa from RPDR S5 E4! This was really tricky to compose because I mostly wanted her face, but also to incorporate the textures of her costume, and it wound up looking a little awkward with white around it so I added a black background to frame her in after I scanned it. Idek. Stupid art is stupid.

I did a bunch of these all in one night, so they’re not as polished as they were from last year, but I’m still super stoked to be getting some RPDR art in between my projects, it feels so good!

Jinkx Monsoon, as she appeared while hosting the live viewing of RuPaul’s Drag Race at Julia’s on February 11th. Heavy artistic liberties and use of red marker, pardon my make everything a cartoon urges.
General feels about Jade Jolie:
- I love her voice.
- She is a cartoon character, and thusly incredibly fun to stylize.
- She is also really fun to draw wearing red, which isn’t hard because she seems to be quite fond of it.

I somehow forgot she had a whip despite watching it while drawing her, and the critique talking about how she needed to be more assertive with it, and replaced it with a riding crop???? idek Artistic Liberties.
