Inappropriate amounts of Professor and Static studies/doodles/drawings/what have you GO.

Working on the current arc of The Adventures of Professor Polycappellus I have to draw a lot of these guys and in my free time I wind up drawing even more of them to keep myself fresh and practiced or what have you. Also they are fun to draw and they have a silly dynamic. (Although sometimes I have to draw cathartic doodles of Static when I am sad because she is me but the cooler, better, spunkier me.)

Also now canonically, Static’s scarf is animated and “alive”. ;)

From time to time I have to draw my crazy murdercat Khajit, Prisoner bcuz it feels good n she is cute.

And then I was a hedgehog.

The bottom drawing happened at an Olive Garden where a loud, obnoxious family sat behind my partner and I and we expressed our frusts on the doodle instead of out loud - so as not to be…rude.

Ugh sometimes you have to draw something completely horrible and stupid really awful quality and self-referential when you’re in the middle of drawing an entire page of a comic devoted to your baby puking.

The moment I saw Alyssa this week I needed to draw her. Warm up sort of? I need to refine it.
